hello, just got a V635 and as far as connecting to my pc is concerned it`s
all very frustrating. I have a blue tooth dongle (itech one recommended by
motorola) and when i try to activate it i get the error message "software
does not have a license to run the hardware" which i thought was strange as
it came with the hardware. Also when i connect the phone thro usb windows
explorer recognises the phone fine as a removable drive but the phonetools
software recognised the phone on its first activation and then refused to
connect to it. The manuals for the phone and bluetooth dongle are less than
explanatory so could anyone point me in the right direction as to what i or
the hardware is doing wrong?
TIA

Re: Connecting V635 to PC
thanks bruce. i actually got the dongle working with a little help from
itech`s website. had to change the device driver from a microsoft generic
driver to a csr usb device. works fine now although the usb connection is
still temperamental.

Re: Connecting V635 to PC
Yep, that's exactly what's in the blog. Be sure to remove or rename the
MS driver so it won't cause future conflicts.
