Please post it.
I partially figured it out, but did not know what ID to put in.
I tried to use the COPY feature to send to another 551, but then one
asked for the other's Bluetooth ID and I didn't know what to enter.
Thanks

When I tried this once before, the phone asked me to enter the code
for the other phone.
You didn't have to enter a code?

If you have paired the phones previously you shouldn't have to enter the
code. If it asks for the code simply plug in any 4 digit number you like.
The other phone should then prompt for a code and use the same number.

I just tried it today, and it worked well. No code required. I must
have done it differently last time.
Thanks

Re: 551 to 551 via BT?
You will have to move all of the data, tones, images, etc to a PC, then to
the working phone.

Re: 551 to 551 via BT?
I have transferred images and tones from 551 to 551 with no pc involved.
Why do you say to move to pc first?

Re: 551 to 551 via BT?
Can't you just go to the pic/tone you want and hit the middle button, go to
move and have it locate the other V551?
You can't trransfer games to another cell though.

Re: 551 to 551 via BT?
Or you can go to copy instead of move so the pic/tone ends up on both.
You'll then need to put the other 551 into the mode to be discovered, then
accept the copy/transfer.

Re: 551 to 551 via BT?
LWM,
I wuz wrong. You do NOT have to move data to your PC first. I unnerving
thing is that I knew that. Must have been a "senior moment".
