Just got one of these. It only comes with an in-car charger and I need
to charge it up for 2-3 hours while my car's in the garage. There's a
chance I could forget about it and leave it connected overnight. Is
there any risk of draining my car battery? Strangely, not a word about
this in the Moto manual or online FAQs. But |I'm hoping it's the same
as my laptop battery and simply stops drawing power when it's fully
    charged... TIA...

PS: I'm very upset that the wall charger which came with my new V3
phone has a different connector to the mini USB port in the HF820. I
had figured on charging the HF820 indoors or in the office with my
phone charger but I would need to buy a different charger. Very silly.

You need a Motorola SKN6185 splitter. You can use your existing charger
to charge both. If you have the rapid travel charger (SPN5202) you can
charge them at the same time. Due to an ordering snafu I ended up with
an extra of each - brand new, sealed. I'll sell you both for $25
delivered if you want. Email me off line if you're interested.
