Another V3 Question

On the back panel of the RAZR, to the left of the speaker there is a
rubber grommet. What is this grommet covering? Is it something
useable?

I can't find info on it.

it is a connector for an external antenna. i got the antenna and adapter
from wilson electronics but it doesn't help much since the phone is a lot
more sensitive than my old v300 piece of garbage and the antenna doesn't
seem to add bars tot he signal strength.

WARNING! WARNING! You have discovered the secret button that Motorola
doesn't talk about. Don't EVER push that button. It turns the phone into a
red Masseratti (V12) with horrible GSM reception...it's OK on TDMA though.
