Free Ringtone download

Where is the best place to get free ringtone downloads. Most of the sites
you find on Google are really just trying to pump sales.

I would like to know as well or else some instructions on making new ones
and sending them to my phone without a cable. I have the V180 and know how
to edit mp3 files and also have a website I can upload to if I need to do
that.

I did the same trying to find free ringtones. If you use Mozilla as
your browser you can copy the wave file demos from most any site if you
turn off the Java settings in the browser.

The best place for copying clips though is right off your computer from
your own CDs or wave files for free.

Get a copy of Motorola Phone Tools from ebay. An older version is fine
as it allows free updates to the latest version. The program includes
an editor tool for creating ringtones, screens, and videos.

Along with the program you also will need a way to talk to the phone.
I use a USB cable which works great. I used the cable to program my
v60i, 120e, and now my v551.

MPT will program all motorola phones if you get the correct cable to
tie the computer to the phone. I paid about $20 for the cable and
program. As long as I keep using motorola phones the program will
freely update itself so I can do anything to my phone (even backups or
sync).
