Unlocking files

My V220 recently experienced a problem that required me to exchange
the phone. I was unable to retrieve my ringtones because they had a
little padlock on them. How is this removed so in the future I will
be able to save everything on my cell phone to my PC via USB and
Motorola phone tools...

You can use p2kman to download any file on your Moto cell.
