I recently bought a Motorola V3 Razr, with which I am very pleased. But I
have a few questions about it that I would like to ask.
In the Initial Settings section, I notice that the phone has the following
languages besides English: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish
and Portuguese. Is it possible through the PC connection to remove one of
those languages and add different ones? I am thinking specifically of
Russian.
On the previous mobile that I was using, a Siemens A55, I had several
Russian contacts, which were displayed in Russian/Cyrillic. But these same
contacts are not displaying properly on the V3. If it is not possible to
change languages, is there a facility for input languages?
Lastly, I was wondering if there is a facility on the V3 Razr to create
groups, specifically to which to send out a single SMS.
I am indeed impressed with the V3. It seems, however, that the older and
simpler Siemens A55 has certain features that the new model is lacking.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Some Questions about V3 Razr
There are several language packs (at least 5) that include Russian. Take
a look at www.motox.us for details. Look at the Language Packs page and
the MXLP page (which might be best for you). You will have to reflash
your phone to add these but if you read the excellent tutorial on his
site as well as the Noob guides at www.motomodders.net, you'll be a pro
in no time.
As for the second question, hopefully someone smarter about that than
me will chime in.

Reflashing (Was: Some Questions about V3 Razr)
Many thanks for your advice.
The problem, however, is that I appear not to have necessary software for
reflashing.
If I am missing something, then could someone please advise on how further
to proceed?

Re: Reflashing (Was: Some Questions about V3 Razr)
You can find PST and the required patch at:
http://www.inetron.com/index.php?opt...t&cat=1&page=4
(free registration required) which is what you need for Flexing and
Flashing. MFF.exe will be in the PST folder and that's what you run to
do it.
You'll also find it and other files here:
http://www.gsmhome.net/software/motorola.html
and Motokit at www.motomodders.net

That is a very interesting site.
Apparently a username and pw are required to download.
The forum seems to be missing.
Do you know a solution to that?

Re: Reflashing (Was: Some Questions about V3 Razr)
Didn't realize that it was a pay site but thet offer a 5 day trial for
$8 during which time the whole library could be downloaded. Click join
now to sign up. But, only do that if you want the unlocking software.
Everything else can be downloaded free from other sites.
