Okay, I hold down * and # while powering up but I never get into the flash
mode. The SIM is supposed to be out, correct? The USB is plugged in and no
matter what I do, the phone starts up and asks for the SIM.
HELP!

Sim doesn't have to be out.

Unplug the usb cable and try again.
It can take 2 or 3 times sometimes.
I press all three buttons and just release the power button keeping star and
hash down.
