Hello! I recently bought a Motorola v262 and am quite disappointed with the
reception indoors (outdoors, it works great). So, I called up Telus and they
told me that maybe the software needs to be upgraded and told me to check
with Future Shop (where I bought it). Future Shop says they don't know what
Telus is talking about as Motorola v262 is a new model and doesn't need an
upgrade. So, I am stuck with either a bad phone or bad cellular service. Not
sure which one.
Could someone tell me what this software thing is about?
Thanks.

I would suspect they mean the internal firmware, which usually can be
upgraded at a Crap-a-Rola service depot; if under warranty free of charge.
Crap-a-Rola should be able to tell you where your nearest depot is.
