Can you use your PC to format the 512 K transflash or not ?

If so do I do it as Fat or Fat 32 ?

Had to take the one I bought Back, as it was locked up.
Meaning: You could delete the pictures on the PC, and it sa ok, but when
done it said it could not Format it, and the Pictures came back.
So this one I want to try on the computer for some pictures and sounds,
but afraid it might mess it up, that's the reason I ask ?
    TIA

I'm not sure, but since you can format all other media like SDcards
    (MMcards) or CF-cards...
Think it won't be a problem to format.

Re: V710 and Formating Trans flash ?

On the 256 meg I had temporaily, I put all my pictures in the Pictures
folder by computer, it was the only way I could get them to look nice, for
ID phone numbers, then did a transfer and de;eted them out of the
Transflash. But don't remember if I formated it back in the phone or not,
but seems the phone did it by it's self.
