    I run Phonetools 3.25 on my Win2k sp4 and E398.

For some reason the sync of the calendar fails every time. Phonebook sync:s
    alright (most of the time).

Any idea how I could solve this? Is there a trial ware of the full version
I could try? Is it a hardware och software problem?Should I get a Bluetooth
adapter for my computer and try the Bluetooth connection?

I'm prepared to pay for something that works.

    thanks!

There are some known issues with Calendar syn, having to do with recurring
appointments that started before 2000, or some that don't have "normal"
    recurring intervals.

I guess my question would be whether they fixed it in 3.28, along with some
    other calendar issues?

That would be really tough to say. There don't appear to be any release
notes, or even any announcement of 3.28, other than it appearing as a
    result of a Live Update.

My tests suggest that there has been some progress, but that it still has a
    long way to go.

With my first sync of my regular Outlook calendar to my V551 with MPT 3.28,
which caused earlier versions to crash, I got:

An error has occured while updating your mobile phone. X
What do you want to do?
    Retry Cancel

No other information. Retry (even more than once) did no good. Cancel let me
    access the Summary:

    Contacts
2 of 2 contacts synced successfully.
    Calendar
61 of 72 events synced successfully.

    John Doe's Birthday
The event was not synchronized because it has properties associated with it
that are not supported by the phone.

    Jane Doe's Birthday
The event was not synchronized because it has properties associated with it
that are not supported by the phone.

    [etc.]

In other words, problems with repeating events. Most but not all of them are
    annual.

On the second sync, I got (even though they are way outside my calendar sync
    limits):

Continue deleting 7 event(s) from your computer?

    Items to delete:
    Subject Start date
    Christmas Day 25 Decenber 2005
    St Valentine's Day 14 February 2006
    [etc.]

In other words, there are still big problems with repeating (e.g., annual)
events, but at least MPT no longer crashes (in my tests at least).
