I notice that when the battery starts to go flat, my Motorola Razr V3 emits
a reminder tone every few minutes. Is there a way to disable this tone?

Also, is there a generally accepted rule on turning off these phones? By
this, I mean to ask if there is any sort of requirement to occasionally turn
it off. I myself almost never turn off my mobile phone, and it can go months
at a time without being turned off.

Many thanks in advance for any and all information.

    CR

I have a older Motorola flip. My 3 year contract is up next month. The
phone has never been turned off.

I believe they go together not individually.
