I have an unlocked T-Mobil Razor I'm using with Cingular. When I try to
use the Browser it goes to T-Zones and reports network unavailable.
Searching available networks shows 2 entries for Cingular. Selecting
either,it reports registered with Cingular but it still goes to T-Zones.

    How do I fix this?

    TIA,
    Gary

You need to configure data and WAP for Cingular, rather than T-Mobile.

Cingular tutorials for many different phones are available online at
    <http://tutorials.cingular.com/>

On-line Phone & Device Support at
    <https://onlinecare.cingular.com/device-support/index.do>
Select your Network, and handset Manufacturer and Model (or a similar
device) to access Device Setup, including: Access/configure MMS
    (picture messaging) settings.

TMo typically hides the Web Sessions menu and locks the TMo GPRS
setting. You can delete the setting and add Cingulars. To access the
menu to do that you can do a SEEM edit.

Yes, I do not have the Web Sessions menu item or the Globe icon in settings.

I found some info on seem editing and downloaded and ran p2kman. It
    says phone not connected.

Mototools tools works fine. Looked in control pannel and modem entry
for phone says device working properly.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Re: Razor chaging networks?

Go to the Cingular website and have them send the settings to your
phone. Then select the settings in Web Sessions and you should be good
to go. The settings are also available on www.motomodders.net.

    Re: Razor chaging networks?

If I understand this correctly I need to do a SEEM edit to turn on the
    Web Sessions menu item first.

This is where I'm stuck. MotoTools works fine. P2KMan doesn't see the
phone. Google search shows this is a common problem, the solution seems
to be to reinstall the modem driver & point to the p2kman driver folder.

I've followed the instructions & uninstalled the modem driver. (W2K)
When I plug in the phone a new device is found but Windows does not give
me a chance point to the p2kman folder.

I've updated the driver from control panel and pointed to p2kman folder,
    no relief.

Another suggested solution was to install PST. I did, still doesn't
work, neither does PST see the phone.

Again ... Mototools does see the phone and I'm able to use all functions
    of that program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Gary

Thanks for the response. I followed your instructions but got the same
result. I do not get 5-6 drivers installed as I'm supposed to.

    ???
