    I bought a SuperClip 2 primarily to unlock three V220 handsets. I've
read the instructions, but I can't get it to work.

I switch the SC2 to "Blink, Blink, Off, On" then connect the USB lead
& power up the V220 in test mode. The phone says "Battery OK - OK to
Program - Connect USB Data Cable"

I press Enter on the SC2, the phone says "USB Transfer mode", the LEDs
blink for a while, then the phone switches off and the SC2 reverts to
    "Blink, Blink, Off, On".

I've tried with a charger connected to the phone. After the SC2
reverts to its initial state (as above), the phone reboots (rather
than turning off) and displays the GUI screen with "Charging Battery".

I've also tried manually turning the phone on when it turns off.

    Am I doing something wrong?
