Hi folks: My old phone (Sony-Ericsson T206) is dying and it looks,
regretfully, like I need to upgrade. I'd like to get a quad-band phone,
anticipating some travel in Europe next year. Bells & whistles like
cameras, Web capability, and so on aren't important to me, but good RF
performance, good sound quality, durability, and other practical stuff
like that are.
I've been looking hard at several different phones, but particularly
the Motorola V190, and would like some feedback on it (at first glance
its only--slight-- drawback for me is that it lacks Bluetooth). I've
scanned posts in this group going back to September and can find no
mention of the V190. I don't know if it's a Canadian-only model (Fido
has it-- I tend to choose a phone first and then find out which carrier
has it-- I'm currently with Telus but feel no loyalty to them), or if
it's too new, or what, but reviews of this phone are harder than hell
to find online. So I'm throwing this request for info out to you
Motorola buffs. I need info fast; my dearly beloved wants to give me a
phone for Xmas and time's getting short. So whaddya think of the V190?
Anybody?
SJ
