This Would make an amazing Christmas Gift

I am selling my Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone. It includes everything
including the original box and its accessories (512mb card, remote with
earphones, charger, etc.) This phone was imported from China so it has
language support for chinese as well as english and some other ones too. It
is in mint condition and has been used for a little over a week. Screen
Protector is on it as well so guaranteed no scratches on the LCD.

This phone is like the Motorola ROKR in ability to sync with iTunes(requires
only a plugin) but is better in regards of everything else including a 2
megapixel camera and expandable memory upto 2GB (4GB once they release the
new card). This phone replaces your mp3 player completely, you can throw
away your big clunky ipods and just carry this with you. Music can be played
upto 9 hrs straight before battery runs out then you pop in the 2nd battery
    that is included :P

Phone is unlocked and unbranded and can update through the Sony site so it
is not stolen or anything. All you need is a SIM card with any phone company
and it will be up and running.

!!!!!NOT BUYABLE OR EVEN RELEASED IN CANADA!!!!!

Also included is an additional EXTRA capacity battery that extends the
talking time by about 2hrs a CD containing around 250 java games.

I am looking for $650 (firm) no offers so don't waste time.

If you want some pictures of the phone I will be happy to send you some. The
    specs are listed below.

If you are interested leave me a message including a phone number and I will
call you to setup a time and place for us to meet and you to pay for it.

At $650, I would be dissapointed. In the UK, they are 300 UKP brand new,
SIM free. Yours is, second hand... and more cash. I personaly would not
pay more than 50 quid for one.

    > I am selling my Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone.

I know, they are rubbish. I too had one for a week and was glad to off load
it. It was the cheapest feeling phone I have ever used, it even feels like
a cheap plastic toy! Disposable film camera's are made better. The plastic
casing is awful - I could hear it creaking in my pocket while walking down
the street! This is one increadably naff phone. It looks good on the shelf
in the store with it's Walkman branding etc, etc. IMO I don't think the
guys at Walkman had very much to do with it - they just slapped the logo on
it. Sony's stand alone mp3 players are a hell of alot more robust. Someone
at Sony HQ really screwed up when they said "yea, you can call it a
Walkman". This phone really is - nothing more than a logo.

I downgraded(?) to a V3 and a bluetooth mp3 player with FM radio. This is a
much better package having one thing the W800 has'nt - Quality.

Fortunatly, I was able to return the SE to the shop - as a faulty item. I
think the guy doing the refund knew what I knew...

    > This phone is like the Motorola ROKR

And the software you get with the Motorola actually works. MPT is one
excellent piece of software - and works with bluetooth too! Not true for
SE. I ended up spending another 35 UKP on a card reader (to read a duo
card) just to copy some mp3's to it as the USB interface was - to sum it
up - useless. The phone then takes about 15 mins to recognise whats on the
duo after you put it back in - if it can read the card that is. I must of
spent 15 HOURS trying to load 5 CD's. This is, in my world - is a complete
    waste of time...

    > !!!!!NOT BUYABLE OR EVEN RELEASED IN CANADA!!!!!

Canadians are not missing anything. It's winter her in the UK (I know -
it's nowhere near as cold). I left mine in the car for two hours (-3C at
night). It had switched itself off - probably too cold for it. In canada
the cold will probably kill it - dead. Try it. The plastic also goes very
brittle and shows hairline cracks. The V3 is fine left in the car, no
problems as yet. (BTW, what is the casing on the V3 black made of?
    Aluminium...?).

You will need it. The first day I had my W800, I took about eighty pictures
of the inside of my pocket - and killed the battery. The camera lens cover
had slid open and the prominent picture taking button became active. This,
I felt was a major flaw with this phone, requiring precision placing it in
    one's pocket.

    > I am looking for $650 (firm) no offers so don't waste time.

We won't. It can be found cheaper, brand new - without a contract.

IMHO, I think the Motorola V3i with bluetooth headphones would be a better
buy. Now where can I get one...?

    Just my penny contribution...

One question though... Why are you advertising this on a Motorola
    newsgroup?
