The SLVR (not SILVR, it's an abbreviation for S-L-I-V-E-R) is too new for
extensive reviews to be around. Basically there are three models, L2, L6,
and L7. The L2 and L6 are plastic phones which resemble thin non-flip
versions of the Vxxx "triplets" series. The L7 has a metal frame and back,
and is like a non-flip version of the Razr V3i. It also has a better
screen, TransFlash memory card slot, and is iTunes capable with
    appropriate firmware.

The L2 and L6, as announced, are triband phones. The European versions you
see all over eBay usually omit the GSM850 band, so they would be pretty
useless on Cingular which makes moderate to extensive use of that band.
Unless North American varieties are released, of course.

The L7 is available as quad-band, (but, again, many European models are
triband and omit GSM850). It is rumored that Cingular will pick this up in
1Q06 (Cingular-branded samples of the L7 are floating around). So it might
pay to wait a month or so.
