I'm looking for the same thing and man is it hard and I'm still looking.
I posted here sometime ago about this and only got a snide remark so us
poor people who cant afford the newest up todate phones have to stick
together.
This is what I gleaned from the internet so far.
note most these links require you to join but that's not hard to do.
first you need the desktop suite and from what I read they only work right
with windows XP
The A1000 desktop suite is supposed to work on the A920 but I haven't tried
it like I said I'm still looking.

note; You have to join to download.
search A1000 desktop suit
page down to;
Knowledge & Support Category
pick
What's New - All Items
Page down to desktop suite it's highlighted in yellow.
As for the firmware I haven't exactly found that yet but I did find a flash
for making an A920 to an A925 here. it supposed to give you bluetooth ,ir
port and expand memory capability.

Some other links you may want to look at here;
Note; many times the links posted are out dated........

Hope this helps

Re: Help needed for my A920!!!
How much did you pay for this phone?
This might be an engineering prototype phone which might explain why it
didn't come with a cover.
