Got this as a freebie with a Tom Tom 700, but have no leads or mention in
the manual about how to upload pictures from it to a PC (not apple) and my
PC is modern ( XP pro, usb2.0, firewire, but NOT bluetooth ) There must
surely be the facility to do this...but how?? TYIA

You need a USB cable and a copy of Mobile Phone Tools. Get it on ebay
for under $20.

If you buy a bluetooth adapter for your PC, the WinXP drivers, or the
drivers that come with the bluetooth adapter will allow you to copy
pictures with no additional software.

You can buy a USB data cable, but then you also need software.
