I was having a problem with my Razr V3 and Moto HS801 headset dropping
whenever I was at home. I would get a "weak signal use handset ?" prompt in
the middle of the conversation (a conversation which it mutes my speaker). I
was thinking that it might be a bug, so I did little things like update the
firmware, try to leave the phone plugged into a power source etc etc.

Then I was out in Albuquerque at a hotel and talked for 3 hours on 2
different nights (until the batteries died) on the headset and never got a
weak signal. I recently moved to a new state and apartment and yet, I still
get a weak signal message. What kills me, is that it doesn't matter how
close the phone is to the headset, I still get it. While in Albuquerque, I
roamed 15-20 feet away from the phone and it worked just fine.

So the question is, What do I have in my apartment, that would interfere
with a Bluetooth signal ? My only guess is my Linksys 2.4Ghz router, though
I thought Bluetooth worked on a different band\Frequency.

Any other things to look at ?

    TIA

BT is the same frequency. Try turning off the router to see if it solves
the problem although it could also be a neighbors router if they are
real close. If the router is causing it, try changing the channel on the
router - there are 11 to choose from. If you're using 1 try 11 & vice
    versa.

The channels overlap. The only non-overlapping channels are 1, 6, and 11.

Thanks Bruce and John, I'll give that a try and see how it works.
