currently i have a Treo600, and am seriously considering a razr.

can you all share the pluses and minuses,... pros and cons.. good and bad
    of this phone.

I am liking the thought of carrying a lightweight slim phone, compared to
the treo brick that weights my pocket..

specifically.. how is the personal calendar.. easy to add events too,
    update... view.. etc

    thanks in advance

    Mike

PDS phone with PC-like functionality vs. over-rated phone with lousy audio
quality and RF performance? No comparison. Stick with the Treo.

I wouldnt get a RZR well at least not the first generation, they have
lousy RF performance, and there were some issues with the software bein
    rushed out the door.

My own experience is that the RAZR works very well and has very good RF
    performance.

For someone who doesn't have one, you write like you know what you're
talking about. You don't. The RF performance is the best of any Motorola
I've used and I can consistently get a usable signal in areas where my
wife's SonyEricsson P910 shows No Service. I get NO dropped calls (like
I did with the v600) and even can use the phone from the basement garage
to the 23d floor IN THE ELEVATOR! As far as the s/w goes, I had no
problems with the original but have been able to upgrade to add feature
enhancements. All that said, the new v3i does have a better camera,
more memory w/card and enhanced screen.

    Re: a dumb question

I actually do, the first batch of RZRS were crappy, when Cingular
requested to field test the units, there were alot of drop calls, in
the end the only cared about the look.... and when you have customers
complaning how bad the hardware is who do you think gets the blame?
    Motorola not Cingular.

Hmmm and how do I know this? well is obvious I don't have to ***** it
out for you.Like I said it was the first shipment of RZR I never said
all were that way. Yes they got their act together and fixed alot of
the bugs found in the first batch of phones.
