I just got a new Verizon Razr and have updated my Mobile Phone Tools to
    the most recent version.
The phone shows up and I can access contacts and the internet but no
options for picture transfer are available.
Is there any way to transfer pictures to and from PC to phone?

Verizon, like with every phone they release has probably crippled the
feature so you are forced to send over the network and thus are forced to
pay for the airtime. Go to the Verizon newsgroup at www.howardforums.com for
more setails and a possible seem edit or flash to fix it. Good Luck. Lesson:
NEVER EVER BUY A PHONE FROM VERIZON DIRECT. The V710 was the first FIASCO
where they caught doing this, were sued, and did lose or rather Settled to
    be correct

I just went through this with my E815. Got the phone for Christmas
from Motorola, but since it's only made for Verizon, it doesn't matter
where you get it. Verizon admitted that they block certain features.

    Here are helpful places:
    www.v710.org/mark
    http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=674803

If you can connect ok to your phone with the USB cable and MPT, then
don't bother with the drivers. Just set up the hacking tools (PST and
P2K tools) to edit the seem. Get everything done with USB before you
try using Bluetooth with the phone.

I have edited the seem on my E815 to turn on the Multimedia Studio
feature, and it works great. Now I have it working with my desktop
    (USB) and my laptop (BT).

    Good luck!

THE best place to get info on flashing, flexing and SEEM editing is
www.planetmotox.net and you HAVE to go to www.xlr8.us/hofo for SEEM edit
info and guidance. motomodders.net and howardforums are also excellent
    sites for learning and modding.

Thanks to you all for the help. After wading through all the info the
    fix was relatively simple.
    1. Install and update Mobile Phone tools.
    2. Modify the detect.inf file putting an "m" after the v3c driver
    3. Running the drivertools.exe
After that picture and file transfer worked fine. (This may not work
with firmware .3, mine was .2)

Bluetooth OBEX File Transfer works with .02 Verizon V3c Razr software,
with no hacks. You just need to have a BT dongle that provides a
"Bluetooth Place" (i.e., uses the "Widcomm" BT Driver), and you just
drag picture and sound files to and from your phone. Don't need MPT at
    all for this.

But the OBEX code appears to be outright removed from the Verizon V3c
..03 software, so no hacking (short of flashing with different firmware)
    will get it back.
