Hi,

Flashed & flexed my Cingular V3 and all has been OK for some months. Uploaded
my own .gif for the external (cl.gif) display at the same time and it has been
OK as well. Until recently. No sits, drops or kicks, but now the external
display is spliting in quads or halves or displays garbage or time on the lower
third and black on the upper third. Turning it on and off does not seem to
correct the issue. I can sometimes get it to behave by changing the gif
attribute, then it goes back to being funky after just sitting there after a
time. Looked around and found that SEEM 0061 and 0062 deal with the display
but I can't find anything about what bit does what.

Does this appear to be a programming issue or a mechanical issue inside the lid?
My next operation is to take it apart and check the ribbon cable. I have the
tools and skills; just thought I'd throw this out in case I am missing
something.
