    Hi,

I have T-Mobile Razr v3. I need to use the Razr as bluetooth modem for a
Nokia 770. I have the T-Mobile Internet plan, but on the Razr I can not
find the APM settings which I need to set on the 770. Does anyone know
where those settings are? I have colleagues who does this without problems
on Cingular, so I thought it would work with T-Mobile as well, but I am
anot able to figure it out. I get the 770 to connect to the Razr, but when
I try to surf the net I am not getting anywhere.

    TIA for help and pointers.

I have no clue but these guys do:

Read the rules, register (user name, email addy and password are all
they ask) and look for T-Mobile and Razr V3 forums.

I have a RAZaR V3c and was told you can't do it. Wrong Answer...
Actually pretty easy...But the phone only works as a 1x modem and you
will not have internet on the phone while in that mode.
    Here's what to do.
    1) Quickly enter #073887*
You will then be asked to enter the security code which should be 000000
    (unless you changed it)
If you do not get the enter security code prompt then clear it out and
try again because you did not enter the code fast enough.

    2) scroll down to Test Mode, select and enable it

    3) press CLR CLR CLR <left soft Key> (that's the left hand key directly
under the screen - top of keypad.)

    4) WAIT at least 20 seconds for the FTS Screen to load (the phone is
    booting into programming mode)

    5) Press the <Right Soft key> three or four times slowly to come to a
screen with HDR Pref: about midway down the list.

    6) Use the arrow keys and scroll the chevron at the left of the screen
down to the HDR Pref: line. (first press turns the chevron on)

    7) Change the choice from AUTO to CDMA with the Right Soft Key

    8) Press the Left Soft Key one time to exit and wait 10 seconds.

    9) Press CLR CLR CLR <Left Soft Key> to return to Desktop

    10) Enter the Code in Number 1) and enter the security code

    11) Scroll to Test mode and disable it.

    12) Power cycle the phone, letting it stay off for 10 seconds without
    external power attached.

Viola, Bluetooth or USB Phone Modem. Switch it back using the same steps
except changing from CDMA to AUTO (number 7, above)

I've been doing this almost weekly for the last few months because I like
to fish and I just can't be without email either.

I've sufferred no ill effects except had to reset the browser one time
because I was not paying attention.
