    Hi there,

Just a quick one.. bought a V220 and discovered non one can hear me talk
on incoming or outgoing calls though I can hear them.

Is there anything obvious I may have inadvertently pressed or set to
cause this or is it simply a stuffed phone?

    Thanks
    Henry

I had this problem with my phone, its nothing you have done, the
handset is useless in general. I have just logged onto this website
today after receiving my phone back from a Quality Analyst at Motorola,
I have had three faults with my phone and yours was one of them, suprise
suprise their policy is to replace your phone after 3 faults, they now
'claim' I have liquid ingress in mine and the warranty no longer covers
my phone. Good luck, I am sure your phone shouldn't take too long to
pack in either. I would never buy Motorola again

I can understand your frustration after lousy customer service like
that. I'll never buy a Ford again for the same reason. That said,
Motorola makes excellent phones that are easily modified and with the
best support community online IMO, just not that series (v180, v220).
These are entry level phones that the providers practically give away.
