Some places in the V3 menu tree present the user with the option to "copy ALL
text".
I can find no explanation of this in the manual, and having tried it, I can't
tell where to text is copied to or how to access it.
Can anyone explain what this is please?
Thanks in advance for all replies.

In the text message editor, it copies all text from the screen to a
clipboard. You can then select "past from clipboard" (or something
similar, my phone does not speak English) to have the text twice in the
editor.
I guess (but have never tried) that the text will remain in the
clipboard after you leave the message editor, so that you can send the
same message to several recipients and still make modifications for each
recipient.
