I've just signed up with Vodaphone and got myself a V3X.

I've connected it to my pc via a usb cable and the found new hardware wizard
started up but couldn't find any drivers.

There was no software in the box with the phone.

Please could anyone tell me where to go from here to get the phone connected
    via usb?

if it's a opposing slide box like mine was, make sure that you've opened all
the compartments, the cd is in there somewhere . . . (I can't remember where
    mine was hidden)

No - it was a cheap Vodaphone box. They've referred me to the Motorola
website where I can download it. I've checked and its £20!!!

That's put me off Motorola AND Vodaphone. What a rip-off!
