I recently revived my dad's old Motorla carphone unit (AMPS/TDMA), and its
apparently locked, but he doesn't remember the unlock code. Is there some
sort of master reset function that can be done? Thanks in advance.

Re: Maser Unlock Code?
Bill, well if you take it to a TDMA service shop, they should be able to
hook it up to the computer and read the lock code... or you could just try
to guess it... comon lock codes are: 0000 1111 1234 4321 and the
last four digits of the phone number.
If those don't work, take it down to a local service shop. Unless they are
really stingy, they should perform that service for free. (If they don't,
then you know not to sign up for new service with them!)

Re: Master Unlock Code?
Motorola is last 3 digits of phone or the shops sometimes use there own 3
digit code. Also try FCN 0000000000000 (thats o thirteen times) and hit rcl
If it ends up with a 01 in top left hand corner you are in programming. Hit
* until you get to 08 then hit * again that will be unloc code. I am doing
this from memory.
I just went to google here ya go

Re: Maser Unlock Code?
If you know the old phone number, try the last three or four numbers of it.
