Frequently when I'm using the bluetooth earbud with my V3 GSM phone, I
get a "weak bluetooth signal" msg on the V3 and the headset gets
dropped. This is happening with both a Motorola bluetooth set and a
recently purchased Plantronics set. When I spoke to Plantronics, they
indicated that they have been receiving a number of calls about the V3
doing that and suggested it was due to a power savings setting on the
V3. I can't find such setting except for the screen svr and backlite.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Your answers are greatly
appreciated, and I won't bore you all with the details of two
frustrating calls to Motorola Support. What a bunch of MORONS!!!

Possible 2.4 GHz interference. See the interference section of the
    Wi-Fi (same frequency) wiki below.

I use an H700 with a TMO RAZR with no problems...ditto for my
girlfriend and her H700 and TMO PEBL.

You could do some troubleshooting. Since the problem occurs with two
different headsets it suggests an issue with the phone. If you can test the
headsets with another V3 you will know if the problem follows the headsets
    or not.

Thanks Guys. I suspect as much the problem is with the phone. This is my
second V3 within 3 months. The 1st one got f*cked up by Motorola trying
to unlock it. They neglected to say that after 5 tries with the wrong
code (they provided), the phone cannot be unlocked ever! so they send me
a new phone. Same problem with the 1st phone also so I suspect there's
something inherent to the V3s. I don't suspect interference problems as
I don't have any cordless phones or wi-fi networks nearby.

I did read in some forums that quite a few people have same problem, but
    no solutions yet.

    Thanks again.
