Has anyone successfully used Motorola Phone Tools with a V195?
I don't have much luck.
Started with Motorola Phone Tools V4.03
After it installed, upgraded to 4.04.
"Telephony interface cannot successfully start", I click on "OK"
Phone Setup tries to detect the phone
"Please wait. Your phone is being installed and set up"
"Telephony interface cannot successfully start", I click on "OK"
"Motorola Phone Tools has not detected your mobile phone"
Tries to update again.
"Your product is up-to-date..."
Goes through the detection process again.
"Motorola Phone Tools has not detected your mobile phone.
Do you want to install manually the mobile phone in Motorola Phone Tools?"
I click on "OK"
In the Device Configuration Wizard, I select "COM4 (Motorola USB Modem)"
There is quite some talk between the PC and the phone. The last few lines are:
--> AT +GMM
+GMM: "GSM900",GSM1800",GSM1900","GSM850","MODEL=V195"
OK
*Closing port COM4
Now it gives me a choice of GSM phones. It's a fairly long list, but
the V195 is NOT on it. There's a V185, a V190, a V191, but no V195.
If I just select V190, I get again:
"Telephony interface cannot successfully start". Now, when I click on OK,
the program hangs. "Cancel" and the "X" don't have any effect.
