Dumb question?
I have a Motorola V220 GSM. My two year contract with my service provider is
complete this month.
Is it possible to use my V220 with another provider so that I don't have to
buy another phone? I assume another provider would have to reprogram the
V220.
Peter.

Re: Transfer Cell Phone?
If it is "unlocked" or you can get the carrier to unlock it for you it
can be used on T-Mobil or Cingular or some other GSM provider.
I switched mine to a prepaid T-Mobil plan, then you can change
that plan to a 1 year plan if you want.
If you go that route, look on ebay for t-mobile prepaid sim cards.
