The V3i is a good phone, but I suggest instead that you take your phone
into a dealer, and try a different SLVR to see if that makes any
difference, as well as other phones that appeal to you. The problem
might well be your carrier's coverage in your particular areas, not your
    phone.

RAZR's are the most returned phone for most cell carriers. Trash it
and get something different. They tried to make it better with their
first edition of 3G the V3xx yet did a poor job. Once Motorola get's
their head out of the sand and modifies the onboard software the RAZR
    will continue to have issues.

    Cheers!

Sure it is owned by millions. What do you expect when you can get one
for FREE. Everyone I know who HAS owned one has at least on two
different ocassions have had to replace it. They are unreliable and
flimsy and you shall see this over a few months. the SLVR is a much
    better phone.

    Have a good one.

Based on what? Retailers I've talked to say it has an excellent
    reputation.

The V3xx is a superb phone, arguably the best phone currently offered by
    AT&T/Cingular.

Nowt wrong with the 3 V3/V3i's in our house, totally reliable, solid and
never a problem especially with reception in the UK or across parts of
    Europe.

Ah now come on. It isn't even close to being the best phone offered by
Cingular and if you think it is, then you haven't seen their allstar
    lineup.
