Now that 2gig microSD cards are available, will they work in my Razr?
The manual for my US Cellular V3M only mentions the 512k and 1gig cards.
s/w version: ncr_01.1a.00r
manufacture date: 4706
Also, does anyone have any special tricks for _removing_ the microSD card?

Don't have a RAZR but here's a guess.
On my Garmin 76CSx GPS receiver, the microSD pops out just like a
full-sized SD card: push it in, let it go and it unlocks so you can pull
it out the rest of the way.

Re: microSD question
The 2 gig cards actually came out 18 months ago when the v3i and the
later m version came out and yes, they work fine. I had a 2 gig card in
my v3i and then moved it to my v6 MAXX when that came out. It'll go into
my new v9 when that's released in the fall. BTW, 4 gig cards are now
available too - and they'll work as well.
As for removing the card, use a fingernail to slide it back.

Could someone please list a source(s) for a 4G mSD? I checked at all of
the local electronics stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc and
have been told that they DON'T exist ("never will).

Can't tell you where to buy one at the moment, but the do exist.
Here's the link to SanDisk's product:
http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item...oSDHC_4GB.aspx
A catch would be that these are "microSDHC", so again there's a good
chance that they won't work in your device.
"Because SDHC, miniSDHC, and microSDHC cards are recognized by new
SDHC, miniSDHC, microSDHC host devices differently than standard SD,
miniSD, and microSD cards, they are not backwards compatible with
legacy SD, miniSD, and microSD format host devices."

Well, if they WON'T work in a V3xx, I will have to be happy with 2gig.
Thanks for the info!

Re: microSD question
I am currently using 1.84 of the 2 gigs to store photos, videos and 174
mp3/wma songs so I can confirm that you will get the 2 gigs you pay for.
Now, I may have been wrong about the 4 gig card as I've heard that it
may not be compatible with all devices.

Re: microSD question
I have just bought a Razr Vxx phone, which claims to be an mp3 player. Is it
true that the only way to actually play the music is through a Bluetooth
connection? Bluetooth Headphones or earpiece?

Re: microSD question
No, that is not true. You can use Motorola wired headphones that plug into
the USB connector (these are shipped with the phone or available as an
add-on) or use a Motorola adapter that converts the USB port to a 3.5mm
standard headphone jack for use with your favorite headphones/earbuds.
