    RAZR V3, T-Mobil...

I installed a Bluetooth headset, and it works fine. What I can't figure
out is how to set up voice dialing. Nothing in the book about it, other
than enabling voice dialing which I did. When I want to make a call a
message pops up about "No Numbers in the voice phone book". How do I put
numbers in the voice phone book, and then use it?

    Re: Voice dialing question

Ohh men, lets see, there is a Razr V3 that in order for you to voice dial you need to record the name, other uses voice command. I don't remember very well, but I think you need to go to voice control, then voice command if it's a V3i, or any other with a letter after the number 3, (i,a,m,x,xx,etc...). It sounds like you have a V3 (no letter after), in this case you need to edit the contact and change the "save to" from sim to phone and scroll down to voice record or something like that, don't remember exactly. In other words, you need to move or copy your contacts from sim to phone and edit them.

Go to the Phonebook, select an entry, and under Options you can record
the voice dial name to associate it. The newer razr models don't require
    this.

Thanks BruceR, I appreciate it. Do I make the recording through the
    headset or the phone?

I used to do it through the phone but I think you can use the headset as
    well.

Thanks Bruce, much appreciated. All is very simple when you know how.
Kinda makes me ask why these simple instructions are not to be found in
    the user manual.

The carriers dictate what goes in the manual. Sometimes better manuals
can be found online. If you go to
    http://www.motorola.com.hk/eng/motomobile/v/razrcolor/ and click User
Manual you will get the full generic v3 manual as Motorola wrote it.
Note that you will be on the Hong Kong site but the manual is in
    English.
