DISASTER RECOVERY: THE APPLICATION EVERY MOBILE PHONE NEEDS
This new service gives anyone with a mobile phone the ability to backup
their mobile phone address book onto the wired or wireless internet. In
the event of disaster the data can be restored. With in excess of 10% of
the global mobile phone user population encountering some type of phone
disaster in which they lose their data every year this new service is
invaluable.
Whilst there are numerous solutions available on the market none is as
elegant and economical as SimStore. Singtel, the parent of Optus, for
example requires customers to visit their physical retail outlets to do
the backup and recovery. Other solutions require users to buy cables and
other additional pieces of equipment to backup their phone to their PC
or laptop. This isn't particularly helpful when the laptop and phone are
ripped off at the same time, the user is 1000 kilometres away from his
computer or the user isn't particularly computer literate.
The following types of people will get particular benefit from signing
up to SimStore
* People who lose their phone at least once a year
* People who travel
* People who change their mobile phone number or service
* People who share mobile numbers with partners, colleagues or friends
* People who's numbers are critical to them such as business contacts
Mobile Phone owners should visit www.simstore.com to register and begin
backing up their data today.
