Can any body pls. advise the model number for the equivalent USA
model to a UK Timeport 250.
Wanting to source a Desktop charging stand from eBay in the US (Can't
source one in the UK unless anybody can advise otherwise) so need to
know the USA model equivalent to a Timeport 250
TVM.

7964 or 7984 IIRC however all the Timeports are Generic and
L7089, P7389, P7389i, Ti250, Ti260, T270, T290 and all Timeport equivalents
all have the same charging system. Indeed the supplied charger comes with
dual voltage PSU, with US plug by default and a clever snap on UK BS1363
clip on plug.

Cheers for that response but I don't think I have made myself 100%
clear. I did think the plug in charger would be the same but it is a
desktop charging stand I am after (which I assume is used in
conjunction with the supplied plug in charger) and I was also thinking
more about the shape of the phone and it's ability to physically fit
in the desktop charging stand.
I presume given the above, a charger in which a 7964 and the 7984 will
physically fit will also accept a UK Timeport 250,
am I correct?

Re: USA designation for UK Timeport 250
I have the Timeport P7689, which is, I believe identical to the 250.
However, according to Motorola US, who repaired it a year or so ago,
it was never sold in the USA (I purchased it in Hong Kong). It has the
same battery connection and charger as my Timeport 8767 (CDMA Verizon
version), although the batteries are different physically.

That is the right number.
Batteries do differ in thickness between models, and the P7389 had an
optional "pregnant" battery pack which held about twice the juice.
The batteries all fit the same way, but obviously you can't get the cover of
a thinner model back on over a thicker battery.
There are two grooves down the side of all TP's which I suspect are the
locating mechanism in a desk top charger.
