    Hi all

The motorola a6188 pda phone I got recently(second hand)
    has mysteriously died on me.
I was synchronizing with Starfish Truesync in win98 with infra-red,
and the phone screen suddenly developed horizontal black lines accross its
    face
and kinda froze.I switched off to reset it,and that was the end of the
    phone.
What can I do to get it up and running again.
I thought maybe like a pc into BIOS , just hold down a button while starting
    up,to reset it.

Previously doing a sync froze the phone(or rather part of it,the buttons)
    A restart sorted that out.

Also no matter what I do I cant get the serial data cable connection to work
    now
I disabled the firewall, and antivirus, and anything else that could be using
    the com port.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated

    Thanx/Pete
