Java on an A830 (3 Network)

Hello,

Does anybody know how to load Java application from the PC to an A830? What
software do I need? etc...

Also does anybody know when 3 are going to open up a full data service,
rather than the very limited service they offer now? (E.G. I can't access
wap.ananova.com, or any other ringtone service).

Hi Dave,

If U don't have Java AppLoader enabled, then U have two options...
1. download it from web
or
2. Enable tour Java AppLoader in your phone with these simple steps:
1. press "Menu Button"
2. go to "Settings". Its in the middle
3. go to "Other Settings"
4. go to "Java Tools"
5. if there is no "Java App Loader" visible, keep the "Menu button" pressed
until U get "Assign shortcut" screen
6. once U create that shortcut U can just call it with "Menu Button" +
number assigned for that shortcut... U will get "JAL link active, insert
cable now" message...
7. connect the cable and start Midway 2.6 to load your apps onto the phone.
