I have a couple of GIF files I'd like to get onto my new T730 to use as
wallpaper. Can someone tell me how I can do that? The files are currently on
my PC. If there's either a text-messaging route or some upload software I can
get/buy, I'd appreciate finding out more about it.
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to upload your pic to the web then surf to it with the
browser on the phone. From there you should be able to "save as wallpaper"
or some such.

Hmmm...I put it at <http://www.unitoops.com/pb1.gif> but when I try to get
there I get Error 406. It's there, as you can see by hitting that URL in a
regular desktop browser.
I wonder what I have to do to make this work?

I don't have an answer to your problem but I believe that the phone can only
display Mobile Enabled web pages.

Re: Get a picture onto a Motorola T730
I made created a simple webpage using yahoo's geocities and posted my
pics and ring tones on the web site. I was able to browse on it with
the cell phone and downlaod what I want. Works nicely. You just have
to make sure that the picture is the correct pixels for your cell
other wise u get error messages when you download them.

Re: Get a picture onto a Motorola T730
Don't point to the file, but rather to a folder with the file in it.
For example, make a directory called pics and put your image in it, then
change your url to ...unitoops.com/pics/
the image will be listed and downloadable to your phone.
