My car's old analog phone has been retired and I would like to install
a hands free car kit so I can use our StarTac 7868W cell phone in the
car. Since the StarTac is pretty old too there must be a lot of car
kit options around for it.
Would appreciate any opinions as to which hands free car kit (by any
manufacturer) is best.

The Motorola is excellent. The Radio Shack speakerphone is almost as
good.

I still have a 7868W, been using it for 3 years now. I have a CCM Navigator,
I think these are the most convenient things around. A hinged base that
plugs into the cigar lighter socket, doesn't need any additional mounting
hardware. The microphone on the things is pretty useless, I always use a
(Jabra) headset with it.
