I hope you don't use the Expressway around exits 49-53. Or need your
phone on the North Shore. Or need it during a time a lot of people
will be making calls - like this evening's rush hour (okay, rush 8

You might like to be a tad more specific regarding error messages and
lack of expected functionality - ie. when you put in your T-Mobile sim
and it "didn't work", what did and didn't happen ?

You need to unlock this phone from AT&T. If you search on the internet
there are plenty of people who provide this service. Unfortunately,
doing it remotely is not free. You have to physically bring the phone
    to be unlocked.

If you can't find a person locally to unlock it. Send me the IMEI
number of your phone. I can give you the code to unlock your phone.
But I will have to charge you US$15 because it is not free.

    Good Luck

Re: Can i use the motorola MPx200 (ATTWS) with T mobile

Actually I figured everything....thanks for your posts.

Did not work = no network available...no signal, etc....fixed that by doing
a hard reset on the phone with the tmobile sim in place.
After that TMobile was selected and I was able to make and receive calls.
As for the Internet and email (pop3) I used xing79 instructions posted on
    howardforums:
    http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/244277-1.html
I will try to configure msn messenger in the a few minutes.

    Thanks

It's not free because you choose to charge for it. You can get free
DCT4 unlocking software many places on the net and you can even find
web sites such as http://www.uniquephones.com that once you're
registered (for free) you have access to an online DCT4 calculator.
Why did you only charge $15? Didn't have the nerve to charge $25?

Not sure, but I do not think the MPx200 w/WIndows Mobile 2002 will accept a
    Nokia DCT4 code.

I used unlockitnow.com and it worled great!!
