Hello all, I'm asking this again in hope of catching someone's attention (so don't flame me for re-posting!)
Has anyone managed to DL a .jar file to there phone? if so how?
Also, cannot see Sounds or Pictures folders - can you help?
INFO......
I have a new bluetooth dongle & 1.4.2.8 build 10 driver + V525 ( 2 weeks
old )
I have paired the phone+PC
When I open my Bluetooth Places, I got...
Motorola Phone Voice Gateway
Motorola Phone OBEX file transfer
Motorola Phone OBEX Object Push
in Motorola Phone OBEX Object Push, I can look at / send business cards.
if I try to open Motorola Phone OBEX file transfer I get 'Error establishing
connection'
if I try to send file to I get 'Creating FTP connection' dialog - then,
'Error establishing connection'
I have once (with a different dongle & 1.2.? driver), managed to see Sounds
& Pictures folders but now, there is nothing!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have no clue how bluetooth works but I might get a bluetooth dongle in
order to send things to my cell phone (have been trying WAP but it costs
a fortune in switzerland!!!)
I'm going to a computer shop today and will check if there's a cheap
one.
I'll also have to find a machine with Windows I guess.. erm..

Re: Bluetooth + V500/V525
Just to let you know...
I managed to get it all working!
Perhaps because the phone had been powered off/on & I had stopped then started BT service (from the tray icon) - I don't
know! but I was able to do all operations...
1st, pair the phone
* Can't remember steps - but it is easy to do!
Sending .JAR game to phone
* Open My Bluetooth places
* drag & drop jar to 'Phone OBEX Object Push'
* Accept 'install' on phone
Sending & retrieving ring tones & pictures
* Open 'My Bluetooth places'
* Open 'Phone OBEX file transfer'
* Wait for files / folders to appear
* Open 'audio' folder or 'picture' folder
* drag & drop files to & from folder
Alternatively, you can choose to copy or move ringtones & pictures (not the locked ones) by clicking the centre button
on phone & choosing 'move' or 'copy', then select the 'paired device' (the one you paired with initially) - these items
appear in the blue tooth exchange folder.
I'm using a cheap 'Nimbus USB adaptor' (CSR chipset) bluetooth dongle & WIDCOMM 1.4.2.8 driver (supplied with dongle)
