Anyone familiar with a company that offers good coverage in Vermont
(802) that also offers a plan with no monthly fee, just paying for the
minutes you use?
Verizon and Nextel would seem to be the two companies that offer service
in this area, but neither seem to offer such a plan.

Re: Help: Cell plans for Vermont
Verizon has been in Vermont for many years. Nextel only a few.
Vermont only has about 50% cell coverage state wide. The more rural
the less chance of coverage. If your only going to be in the major
cities and/or using the interstates both will work. There is one
wild card. US Cellular covers I-91 south, from White River Jct to
the Massachusetts border. Whom ever you get, make sure their system
will work with "US pain-in-the-ass".
