If someone reports a phone stolen or lost and Nextel sends you out a
replacement. the phone that was reported stolen , will it still work if
another valid sim card is inserted into it? or is that phone now not usable
due to it being reported to signal ?

AFAIK they only lock out the SIM not the IMEI. I'm not 100% certain
though. Either way, I wouldn't suggest testing it yourself.
