I know I may be too naive to expect mature replies, but I am anxious to hear
what all of the new V60p users are going to do when there trail period ends.
Did the Vz's entry into PTT service meet or exceed your expectations, or did
    it fall short?

I'm not really sure what your question is but verizon has a 30 trial on
service plans, 15 day on equipment, or that's the way it was a month or
so ago--don't know why the difference.?

Sorry I missed the first portion of the thread. Don't we need to make
a distinction between signing up for service and changing service?

    My understanding is:

When you walk into a store, sign up for a plan and get a phone, you
have 15 days to bring any or all of it back and say "forget it".

If you have an existing contract or plan and *change* to another
plan you have 30 days to revert to the plan you came from and
whatever promotions you may have had. Doesn't matter whether
the plan/promos are still offered or not. For example someone still
on one of the old regional plans may want to try an AC plan. Within
30 days of switching to the AC plan they have the option of switching
back to their old regional plan (w/promos, if any). I assume the prorating
would be a mess, but thats not the point.

Now getting even less clear... I am under the impression that this is a
"one time thing". I don't know if thats one time per contract period?,
one time per line if you're on a family share?, one time per life?.

If you call customer service they will advise, and also the confirm
letter they sent me a couple of months ago said 30 on service--it
confused me too, so I called, and they told me 30 on service, and I did
just that, at 30 days---I can read the printed brochure as well (it
reads 14 or 15 , as you, but I am just telling you what c/s said, and
then honored--now it may have changed, but it most definitely has not
been that policy for 10 solid years.

Yea, that's right too, I had forgotten, they did give me 30 on a

one I originally posted was a new service, with 3 lines, I cancel one

Re: initial 15 Day Trial period ending-Sept 2nd, Whadya gonna do?

    I purchased a V60p on August 15. Since I had a NSR plan the phone shouldn't
have been sold to me. I exchanged it for a VX4400 on August 22. I didn't
like the way the phone worked, so I hoped that a new phone would be offered
on Sep. 1. They offered nothing new so I accepted that I was stuck with the
4400. Verizon sent me an email with a survey during the 15 day period. My
answer to one of the questions was that I was unsatisfied with my phone.
Verizon called me and wanted to do what it took to satisfy me. They are
sending me a T730 even though I am outside the 15 day period. I am
impressed that they are going above and beyond to make me happy. That does
present a couple of questions though.
Do I get 15 days during which I can exchange the T730?
Has this caused my contract to be extended?
