Well you're right about one thing..everyone is on Nextel...for now. I
already have switched a few people over with the SUPERIOR Call Quality
and Coverage. That's where Nextel looses out. I just put my Nextel
account on the stand-by mode so I only pay $6/month . Delay you
say..??? Yes, very slight. But I know when I key the phone up, and the
other user is showing their available, the call will go through. Not
with the Nextel. I hate that long beep...aggravating!! 3 1/2 years and
Nextel lost me due to their inferior coverage and customer service. What
a difference some knowledge makes with customer service.

Took me over one week to get my Nextel phone programmed to operate!

That is absurd and simply not true. NexTel can have your phone programmed
and ready to go before you leave the store, with the exception of the need
    to charge your battery.

over a week? somethinbg is wrong there? I bought a phone and left the
store to go back to work and when I came back, after work the phone
was ready to go.. had I had the time to wait, he would have done it
    right then and there.
