Re: VZW LG 6000 vs Nextel i730
I had an i95 and upgraded to the i730. I find the i730 to be a very
"buggy" phone. Reception is not near as consistent as the i95. I
originally thought there was something wrong with my 730 and exchanged
it for another one. The same problems persisted. Much higher instance of
dropped calls and the phone software locks up when dialing and hanging
up. If anyone else has experienced anything similar please reply. A
great gadget phone and hopefully Motorola will have some software fixes
soon!

Re: VZW LG 6000 vs Nextel i730
I've got the new i730. I upgraded from the i90c. In my opinion the 730 is a
great phone. I especially like the ease of going through the menu.

Re: VZW LG 6000 vs Nextel i730
Downside is the screen is smaller if your upgrading from an i95cl and the
speaker is on the back and if you don't hold it right the sound is muffled,
I went back to my i95.

Re: VZW LG 6000 vs Nextel i730
The only minus I have about the iDEN i95cl is that the i95cl, compared
to the i730, is kind of bulky.

For what it's worth, I haven't had any lockups on my i730... Just the
user dumbass design bugs that should have been caught in Q/A, but since
they're software, we have hope they'll fix it.
Try and delete a text message, for instance. It's what, 6 button
presses?
When you're on a call, there are two buttons dedicated to turning
speakerphone on/off, and two that are completely useless (smart button,
PTT button) -- Why can't I customize those? Maybe make the right
softkey a "hold" button, and the PTT a "mute" button?
--
Ah, the miracle mile, where value wears a neon sombrero and there's not a single church or library to offend the eye.
