Right now I am in North Dakota. Verizon Wireless sucks here, so I can
safely assume that Verizon has TERRIBLE SERVICE all over the United
States, right? Nextel has limited service here, but is expanding via
their roaming partner Extend America. Sprint PCS coverage is also very
limited. Cingular and AT&T have no native coverage in North Dakota, so
I can safely assume that they have no native coverage in the United
States, right?
I think I made my point. A wireless network is not equal throughout the
nation. There was a three way tie for #1 by JD Power and Associates,
and Verizon was not there (Nextel, Cingular, T-Mobile).

True. But it's never going to happen.

Really, they released a report about themselves and claimed that "we
suck donkey's ass"? Where was this published?

Congratulations. You, being a resident of a select area, have the
freedom to port your number. You know, AT&T has GREAT coverage in parts
on Minnesota...why would you want to switch?

Like I say, AT&T has some GREAT Coverage in Minnesota.

What part of Minnesota? I have Cingular (Preferred Nation TDMA and
Cingular Nation) plans and I have great coverage in Minnesota. I have
not had a problem with their customer service, either. I called to have
wireless insurance removed, and when it was still on my bill, they
immediately gave me a credit, along with a credit for roaming in a home
airtime rate area.
If you live in the MSP area, Cingular Nation is great. With a T62u, you
can roam on T-Mobile (GSM), AT&T (żGSM and TDMA? and AMPS), and Verizon
Wireless (AMPS). Coverage cannot be beat with that phone.

That's the problem with the media in the United States. They don't care
what is heard, as long as they make money off it. ALL national news
networks (with the exclusion of NewsWorld International) are owned by
[for profit] corporation.

What a crock of ****. AT&T has been known to provide good cusomter
service for years. I had them from 1996-2000. Absolutely no problems.
Even JD Powers gives them good ratings. Yes, they may be biased to a
degree, but in my experiences, I'd say to say they're farily accurate
in their judgements.
AT&T's TDMA service is just fine, it's the GSM service they offer that
stinks. They're taking way too implementing 850Mhz service and the
coverage has more holes than swiss cheese.
