Thats what happens when you Outsource computer work.
ATTWS billing is so bad, is why they now require automatic debiting of
your credit card.

What are you talking about? There is no requirement of auto bill
pay. And i love ignorant blanket statements about things like.... oh
lets say billing. 9 times out of 10 its something the customer used
but does not want to pay for, but lets just say for fun that you had
an actual problem. That doesent mean all 20 million customers are
having problems, and they dont require auto bill pay. Just like you
made that up,you are also probably "creating" the problem you had with
your bill.

WRONG: Here it is verbatim from the web site:
Remember, to maintain the benefits and pricing of our exclusive online
deals, after you receive you phone, you will need to do the following at
the AT&T Wireless online service center (www.attwireless.com/ocs):
* Register for online customer service
* Establish a recurring billing relationship
* Sign up for paperless billing (after you receive your first paper
bill)

Ah, Phillipe/matthew/stewart... manipulating facts again?
That says specifically "to maintain the benefits and pricing of our exclusive
online deals". Has anyone been forced to pay with a credit card when
activating at a store?

Well Phillip, you seem to be desparate to change your ID so that somebody
will listen to you. Why yet another change? Can you example to all these
people why are are such a fraud?

Has anyone not been required when signing up online?

What does a store have to do with it? The statement was made that the
provider *NEVER* requires a recurring billing relationship. The statement
wasn't that *ONLY* stores don't require them.

Re: AT&T Wireless
I never hung out on the Sprint PCS NG, so I never had the "pleasure" of
Phillipe.
Why can't you pick one persona per thread and stick to it. Did "Stewart"
need to respond here, or "Matthew Lindeen" answer questions posed to him?
Geez, will you sign up with a carrier I DON'T use like Alltel so I don't
have to read your delusional rantings?
Thanks!

Won't make a difference Todd. Phillipe has threatened to haunt the SPCS
newsgroup, even though he says he cancelled SPCS service. BTW, if anyone on
the ATT group wants a list of all of his previous known ID's, just email
yours truly, removing the _NoSpam_ from the addy.

In your original statement you didn't specify "online", you only said that
they are now requiring auto credit-card payments. If you only meant "online",
you should have said so. Given your posting history in a.c.spcs and other
places, my assumption is that you intended to leave the "online" part out.

"Stewart" said
"Thats what happens when you Outsource computer work.
ATTWS billing is so bad, is why they now require automatic debiting of
your credit card."
Absent any qualifying statements, that would imply "always." But he
went on to cite a website that requires it for accoutns activated online.
Nothing said about the stores.
You have to understand that he's pulling the same crap with AT&T that
he did with Sprint, complaining and whining because he has nothing better
to do. He also morphs frequently; he is up to almost 50 different screen names
and e-mail addresses that he's used over the past few months. He lies and
tells half-truths, doesn't provide all of the information, and then when
questions are asked he either insults the person asking, or just ignores him.
You'll eventually see what I'm talking to when "Stewart" gets around to
infesting alt.cellular.verizon.
I don't like AT&T; I don't dislike AT&T; I don't have an opinion about their
wireless services; I have never *used* their wireless services. I'm just
tired of seeing the same crap.

I appreciate the offer, but since, as you say, he's up to 40+ names so far,
I assume he just creates new ones rather than recycle old faves! ;-)

Aye ... there's the rub, save for the fact that since he's haunting the
ATTWS newsgroup, he might just go back to those oldies but goldies as those
folks haven't seen them yet ...
