Wap from a regular website possible?? Wapmaster question I guess

Would it be possible to have a single download page of wapcode from a
prebuilt page of wapcode where all I had to do is fill in the download
names so I could put them on my server and dl them to my phone?

If so, is such a template available?

I am not sure about a template, but I put a wap dl page on my web space and
its very basic but does the job.

eg "ringtones.wml"

Whenever I got a new ringtone I just upload the mid to my web space and add
the line to the 'ringtones.wml' file and save again.

I then log on to my wap site which is my web address with the wml file....

eg http://www.thenet.com//mypages/ringtones.wml

I can then select from the list and dl tone to fone

I have left the wml header file info in as you can see I got it from WAP
Forum.

I tried the same thing:
http://www.duelcom.com/malani/wap/index.wml

But all the midi that i tried (which I found on the net) give me an
error 'Cannot open file' in my Nokia 3530. Could you please tell me
which program you use to make the ringtones? or where do you download
the tones from...

Well some of the ringtones work while some don't with regard to my
earlier post. Do you know how to put up vibration in the tones?

I am newish myself to the midi/ringtone/wap/download thing.....
I have found (by others onfo on this NG) that my Nokia 3510 & 3410 only play
4 chans at a time.

I have been messing about with various midi editing software ( I aint tried
Cakewalk yet though) and basically just left 4 chans in the mid. The 4 that
make the tune sound ok were used.

You need to find out what the spec is for your phone and start
messing...thats the best I can say mate.

Re: Vibration, no I have not experimented with that yet.

I tried MMSMGuru's Midiscale. It states that it allows vibration but I
have been trying to get it working, unfortunately, haven't' got it
right then.

Polyphonic ringtones when viewed from the gallery do not vibrate in my
Nokia 3530, but when you set them as a ringtone and vibration is on,
they do vibrate.

Lets see if we can get it working
